    - kennel 82 - gorgeous girl, a more than wonderful presence, 1.5 years old, about 50 cm, friendly and loving without being pushy or agitated, she's a darling, can leave right away into a family where she belongs

    - kennel 104 - lovely gang of 5 dogs, all of them more or less shy, but with great potential

    1. flop - sweet small female, short legs type, with amputated tail, about 40 cm, she is a bit shy but can be petted

    2. figa - sweet lower medium female, a bit shy but can be petted, about 45 cm, about 1.5-2 years old

    3. kosja - shy male, puppy grown in the ecarisaj, but he can also be petted, about 55 cm, born in the summer 2022

    4. kia - shy white-black female, about 50 cm, puppy grown in the ecarisaj, born in the summer 2022

    5. karina - shy tricolor female, about 50 cm, puppy grown in the ecarisaj, born in the summer 2022

    - kennel 87 - felicita - she is a total darling, not to mention a stunning beauty despite missing her left eye (probably an older trauma), about 58 cm, about 203 years old, impossible to spend 1 minute with her without falling in love; 100% people oriented and just sweet

    - kennel 85 - super special sweet male, about 52-53 cm, one of the cutest and the strangest looking dogs i have seen in my life :) maybe he has non-canine ancestors - orangutans or lions? :) very people oriented and totally adoptable, with a truly unique look

    - kennel 74 - funny - very nice and cuddly boy, sadly overweight and always hungry, born 2014, has spent 3 YEARS IN THE ECARISAJ :( he is very adoptable, only around 50 cm shoulder height, his name suits him very well he is funny and can bring a laugh on anyone's face, it would be so nice for him to finally find his people

    - kennel 70 - the big gang was split , of course the bad thing needed to happen first :(, one of the labrador-like girls was bitten in the head. she was treated and is ok now, she is living in kennel 70 together with one male and one female black-grey siblings of greta (who is now alone in kennel 48)

    - kennel 48 - greta (ex kennel 70) - she is still getting accustomed to living alone, on the one hand she is safer and gets to eat in peace, on the other hand she is lonely. the good thing is that the 2 boys in kennel 50, her neighbors are very friendly and inviting her to play through the fence

    - kennel 50 - lolek (with more white) & bolek - the 2 crazy lovely young boys who grew up in the ecarisaj (born at the beginning of 2022) who were previously in kennel 238, about 45 cm, very adoptable for anyone who wishes an active playful dog. they are so happy about visitors, i had to take them in my arms in order to get a decent photo of their cute faces, they are in continuous movement otherwise, trying to convince everyone that they belong in a family and that they have spent enough time in the ecarisaj

    - puppy boy who remained alone outside after his brother was adopted last week, he was not feeling well, but with some treatment he is ok now, we hope the best for him

    - 2 shy girls moved to outside kennel 2, sadly hiding in the dog house, they would urgently need loving families to avoid them becoming the next scared and hardly adoptable adult dogs

    - quarantine 1 kennel 8 - young shy boy, but can be petted, very delicate, about 45-50 cm

    - quarantine 1 kennel 9 - veteran jasper - SINCE 2020 IN THE ECARISAJ, born approx 2018-2019, max 50 cm, sweet and a bit shy but he enjoys petting and is ready to finally get his ticket out of the ecarisaj

    - Sweet old mommy Athena, kennel 230 - we took her out for a walk in the grass, she was still the same wonderful wise lady, but this time more sad than last time, as if she had lost hope. When she was with her puppy girl, she took great care of her and she seemed more content and hopeful. Now, alone in her kennel, everything turned grey. She was happy to walk a bit in the grass and smell the fresh air, enjoy some treats and attention, but as we returned to her kennel we all felt even more sadness. Luckily for Athena and for us, the lovely ladies from Animalia booked her and we really hope that she can leave the ecarisaj soon. She is a darling, we hope she finds a family quickly and spends her remaining time in a warm cozy and loving place.

    - Kennel 20 - Sven - Delicate handsome young boy, fresh in the ecarisaj, 1 year old, about 45-48 cm, overwhelmed by his new "home", the ecarisaj. He is cautious at first, but can be petted really nicely.

    - Kennel 10 - Popcorn - Handsome and friendly young large male (I will have to ask the official age estimation, his tag on the door was not updated), about 67-69 cm, active and curious, enjoys petting and treats.

    - Kennel 9 - Asiago - Very friendly athletic young male, mio mix, born approx. 01.2022, large size, 70-71 cm. He loves people and he loves treats, he is very interested in getting attention and seems to be the kind of dog who learns new things very easily. He has been in the ecarisaj since January 2023, so sad to see his youth, potential and enthusiasm wasted in a small kennel :(

    - Kennel 2 - gang of 4 young dogs, the same old story - all of them puppies grown in the ecarisaj, born approx. at the beginning of 2022, medium size (all between 50-55 cm), all of them can be touched and petted and are recoverable, some are a bit more shy but all of them with great potential and without any aggressive behavior even when pushed outside their comfort zone. They get along very well and live in harmony together.

    Amelie - is the bravest of the gang, she is also cautious at first but after some rounds of petting she actually asks for more :) Total sweetheart, not to mention she is sooo pretty!

    Agatha - she is a bit more shy than Amelie, but she finds comfort in the gang and she follows their example. Hence, petting is also on the menu and accepted well :)

    Alessia - she is also a bit more shy, but she accepts to be petted. She would surely recover in a friendlier environment, with dogs who can show her that it is ok to trust people.

    Alfy - not sure about the gender here, the official papers state he is a boy, but we will have to check and confirm. Sadly he/she was limping with the right hind leg, we will have to monitor and see if the limping persists. A very sweet dog, shy but with a bit of perseverance, can also be petted like the rest of the gang.

    Kennel 35 - Svante - Wonderful boy, we got to him right at the end of the opening hours and had to leave quicker that we would have liked, but we will get back to him next time. He is a very affectionate dog, very people oriented, and suffering a lot because he is locked up in an ecarisaj kennel. He ignores treats and cries when you pass by his kennel, all he wants is to give and receive affection. A very adoptable boy, since 03.2022 in the ecarisaj.

    :( Mal abgesehen von der superengen Unterbringung dieser armen Hunde: sie brauchen dringend neue Wassereimer!!! Seht mal den Dreck und den Rost, der in den vorhandenen Zinkeimern ist, davon können die Tiere krank werden! Wer sammelt denn (außer Futterspenden) auch für solches Zubehör? Für Liegekörbe ist ja hier auch schonmal erfolgreich gesammelt worden.....

    Putzeimer (auch Plastikeimer) kann man auch in RO kaufen, da gibt es doch fast alles in baumarktähnlichen Geschäften. Bei den leichten Behältern ist aber Vorsicht geboten, wenn wenig Wasser drin ist, können sie leicht umgeworfen werden.

    Plastikeimer sind ungeeignet. Das Thema gab es ja vor Jahren schon mal bei FiN. Daraufhin wurden ja diese Eimerhalterungen mit den Metalleimern besorgt und installiert. Kann natürlich sein, dass da so langsam auch mal ein Austausch der Eimer von Nöten ist. Die halten ja nun auch nicht ewig.

    - AND the highlight of our day, we were able to take out 5 dogs, most of them oldies and veterans: Barney kennel 40, Vigo kennel 38, Agnello kennel 110, Athena kennel 230, Lieschen kennel 82

    Barney, Vigo and Agnello are already in their final home, many thanks to Cerstin again and to Animalia for the private business class transport to their destination. Athena will also join them soon. Lieschen is at Alina and booked for Animalia.

    - Quarantäne 1 - schüchterner schwarzer Junge, dünn und süß, schüchtern, aber mit großem Potenzial

    - Quarantäne 1 - Veteran Jasper, so traurig, ihn immer noch dort zu sehen :( Großartiger Junge, er braucht einfach eine Chance

    - Zwinger 109 - kurzes Video vom lieben Tono, sehr anpassungsfähig und lieb, auch er braucht seine Chance

    - Zwinger 70 - die nach dem Rest verbliebenen Junghunde wurden in andere Zwinger umgesiedelt

    - UND der Höhepunkt unseres Tages, wir konnten 5 Hunde mitnehmen, die meisten davon Oldies und Veteranen: Zwinger Barney 40, Zwinger Vigo 38, Zwinger Agnello 110, Zwinger Athena 230, Zwinger Lieschen 82

    Barney, Vigo und Agnello sind bereits in ihrem endgültigen Zuhause. Vielen Dank noch einmal an Cerstin und an Animalia für den privaten Business-Class-Transport zu ihrem Ziel. Auch Athena wird sich ihnen bald anschließen. Lieschen ist bei Alina und für Animalia gebucht.

    Summary of the album:

    - Kennel 129 - Algo - very quiet and depressed shy male, about 55 cm, born approx. 2018, in the ecarisaj since 03.2022. It is very sad to see him there, it feels like he is giving up, human contact scares him and he would very much need a quiet warm place to learn to trust people and enjoy life again.

    - Kennel 122 - Raja - gorgeous lady, about 60-61 cm, born approx 2021, since 01.2023 in the ecarisaj, super sweet and lovely, a little bit shy on first contact, but she relaxes soon and enjoys petting and human attention, as well as treats.

    - Kennel 123 - Titus - handsome and wonderful rotti mix male, about 56-57 cm, sadly overweight because of the lack of activity, in the ecarisaj since 06.2022, born approx 2015. He is wise and friendly without being pushy, he would surely make a very loyal and wonderful companion.

    - Kennel 110 - Agnella - wonderful senior lady, born approx. 2015, 55-57 cm, new in the ecarisaj. We hope her name, inherited from her predecessor in the kennel, will bring her luck and she will get to leave the ecarisaj soon. She is a darling, still a bit overwhelmed with her new environment, but lovely and affectionate, she needs a warm loving home.

    - Quarantine 1 kennel 2 - lower medium size male, about 40 cm, in the ecarisaj for more than 1 year, apparently he got moved from another kennel, we'll try to identify him exactly. He is shy but he can be petted, no aggressive reaction.

    - Quarantine 1 kennel 9 - Jasper - so, so sad to see he is still in the ecarisaj after more than 3 years, and that he is still in the ugly quarantine space. We will try to advocate for him to be moved to the larger kennels in the shelter, but lack of space is always a huge problem. We also try to make him trust us enough so we can all go out for a walk in the grass, he surely misses it. Although, the greatest thing would be for him to find a home and leave this place for good. He is a bit more cautious with men, for obvious reasons, but he can surely make a great companion and friend.

    - Quarantine 1 kennel 8 - Joschi - we had to visit him again, very delicate and sweet, so overwhelmed by everything in the ugly place he is, but can still be petted. If given the chance to come out of here, he would turn into a cuddly and loving dog in no time. We really hope this chance comes soon for him.

    - Quarantine2 sad go round (the lighted side, on the other side there are currently just Tilda and Auro) , and some photos of Rosa and Richie:

    - Quarantine 2 - Auro - we took him for a walk outside, he is born 08.2021, 47-48 cm, since August in the ecarisaj. He is totally and immediately adoptable, a perfect active young dog for a family. He loves people, he is ok with other dogs, he walks on a leash, he is very light and can be easily carried. So really, no real reason for him to spend another minute in the ecarisaj :) We hope the new photos outside will be his ticket out.

    - Outside kennel 2 - the many puppies mentioned in the last updates, unfortunately all of them still there, no adoption. And the usual not so fun sad extra findings - a dead mouse among the dry kibbles and bloody stool in the kennel:(. Of course we removed the mouse and we are discussing with the vets to repeat deworming in the kennel.

    Unfortunately no walks outside this time, we bought and spent some time replacing some of the damaged water buckets in the ecarisaj, still looking into what the best options are, depending on each dog and how likely they are to chew on their bowls.

    Summary of the album:

    - Nelly kennel 152 - beautiful & very people oriented young girl, 57-60 cm, born approx. 03.2022, since 03.2023 in the ecarisaj

    - Todd kennel 153 - love at first sight, gorgeous and loving senior male, about 55 cm, he is a bit cautious at first but he is actually a very affectionate sweet dog. If you stop petting him, he touches you gently with his paw to remind you to continue what you were doing. He is a sweetie, both with his original as with his current groomed look. His joints are probably not great, the winter will be hard for him, we really hope he gets his ticket out, he just needs a warm cosy place to spend his days, he has a lot of love to give in return. He is surely ok with other dogs, he ignores the barking and the agitation.

    - Ulli kennel 154 - another super sweet and lovable oldie, about 53-55 cm, since 05.2022 in the ecarisaj, bornn approx. 2015, a wonderful boy also looking for a loving warm family. Same as Todd, he is surely ok with other dogs, he ignores the barking and the agitation.

    - Nanuk kennel 155 - we actually didn't go into his kennel this time, but we gave him a premium treat to chew as we were in Ulli's kennel, you can see a video of how he plays with it, he was so funny, that treat was definitely the highlight of his month.     - Cleo (black) & Lara (beige) kennel 134 - puppies grown up in the ecarisaj, sisters of Bianca (ex kennel 212), born June 2022, about 60 cm, and in the ecarisaj since 08.2022. So sad to see them still in here, they are such lovely girls, the kennel is unfortunately too small for them, but at least they get to stay together for now so it is a good compromise. They are both playful and sweet, longing to learn about life outside the ecarisaj. They have a lot of energy and are so excited about visitors.

    - Daisy - kennel 138 - wonderful girl, fresh in the ecarisaj and a bit overwhelmed but still a total darling, very sweet and delicate, 2 years old, about 60 cm, immediately adoptable and a joy to be around.

    - Dragu - Quarantine 1 kennel 6 - handsome young boy, about 1.5 years old, about 60 cm, athletic constitution, he barely can turn around in the small quarantine kennel :( He is active and he has not yet come to terms with his imprisonment, he sometimes barks but it seems it is just to draw attention and get some treats. If you go inside, he is very nice and calm, he lets me pet him very nicely and he eats treats from the hand, he is not even shy at all, he just does not like where he is at :(. He would surely turn into a happy dog in a better environment.

    - Jasper & Joschi - the usual sad residents of the dark side of the quarantine, really hoping they will get out soon

    Ja, wir Fellchen in Not hat die Eimer mit den Halterungen damals angeschafft und hier im Forum dafür gesammelt. Irgendwo müsste auch noch der Thread dazu sein. Da steht drin, wieso es letztendlich die Metalleimer wurden. 🤔

    - Emma, kennel 230 (ex 24) - born 06.2021, around 50 cm, the separation from her old gang has made her very sad and depressed, she is the most affected one and she is still processing being alone in the kennel and she surely misses her old buddies :( She is not ready to trust people yet, her gang gave her confidence and safety, now everything is harder because she is on her own. She would fit in any nice pack of dogs, and find comfort and learn from them. We hope the best for her. Amy and Mika have left the ecarisaj, Tomte (now kennel 40) and Emma are still waiting to get lucky as well.

    - Mommy Samari + 6 babies, kennel 239- The mommy was captured after the babies were brought in, she has surely lived all her life outdoors and the ecarisaj is an ugly prison for her. She is agitated and stressed, a very sad view, hopefully she will find some peace soon and come to terms with her new situation. She is medium size, long legs, around 55 cm shoulder height, very skinny. I will have to ask about the age estimation, she is surely not old.

    The babies are learning to trust people, meanwhile they were moved into the quarantine because they were freezing :( Not ideal without the mommy, but they eat on their own and having a warm dry place is critical for their survival at the moment.

    They are 3 boys (Spark, Snoopy, Soly) and 3 girls (Strawberry, Sprinkel, Summer). Soly was lucky to find an adopter thanks to Heidi / Pfotengluck and he left the ecarisaj yesterday and is at Alina's place. The other 5 babies and mommy Samari are all looking for families.

    - Veteran Jason, kennel 94 - Jason has been in the ecarisaj since 05.2018 - a lifetime! He wasted all his youth in the ecarisaj and he is now about 7 years old, medium size around 50 cm. He is actually such a sweet delicate boy, he is shy but he can be petted, he just needs a bit of love and patience to learn to trust humans. He is not aggressive in any way, just very cautious. If he is given the chance, he will learn to enjoy life very quickly, he is a darling.

    - Dragu, kennel 85 (ex quarantine 1) - A very positive change for Dragu, he can finally turn around in his kennel and walk a few steps, which was literally impossible in the small quarantine kennel he was in. He is a very nice agile athletic dog, an active family would suit him very well. He loves to be petted, he is a bit more cautious with men at first, but no issues after he sees that people mean no harm.

    - Tristan, kennel 89 - Tristan is such a wonderful boy, in the ecarisaj since 01.2021, he is almost 8 years old, so sad to see that he does not have a home. He is a very gentle and sweet dog, a bit cautious but in fact affectionate and looking for human affection. Sadly, we found him with an injured eye, probably because of the stupid wires in his kennel. We mended what we could, he received some treatment and his eye has gotten better meanwhile so hopefully this will not happen again.

    - Delis, kennel 82 - Very depressed and stressed male, was captured at the beginning of November 2023, and he is still overwhelmed and unable to process what has happened to him. He is a large boy, no age information so far, I will ask. We really hope that he can start to relax a bit soon :(

    - Veteran Speranta/Speranto, kennel 82 - Another great veteran boy, very open and positive and affectionate, very interested in getting petted and receiving treats. No real reason for him to spend another day in the ecarisaj, which has been his "home" since 2018 :( He was considered problematic by the caretakers a while back, but he had no issues at all when we visited him with my husband and daughter. He can be petted by everyone, such a positive lovely boy, it is sooo time for him to get out of there.

    - Agila, kennel 67 (ex 56) - Agila switched kennels with Rella to prevent her from climbing the fence. Agila is a nice boy with foxy looks, a bit shy but definitely recoverable, under 50 cm, in the ecarisaj since 04.2021, now about 5.5 years old. He is not aggressive at all, he can be petted nicely. In a loving environment, he would quickly turn into a great family dog.

    - Biscuit, kennel 38 - 1 year old sweet boy, new in the ecarisaj, he is booked for Heidi / Pfotengluck, thank you!"

    - Svante kennel 35 - he was on the 'must take out on a walk' list for a very long time, now we finally succeeded, and he was even greater than I expected. He is such an easy going dog, he surely had a family somewhere, he loves all people, he walks on a leash as if he had spent years practicing. He was born 03.2017, 56-57 cm shoulder height, and in the ecarisaj since March 2022. He's a bit chubby because of the lack of exercise, but he is still a very handsome sweet boy, very people oriented and in great need of a loving family.

    - Dominique, kennel 101 - No update was planned for her, however a fight started in the kennel and the weakest girl was attacked and bitten by the others :( We were close by and managed to stop the fight and pull her out of there. She was in shock, but luckily the scare was worse than the actual wounds. She has a bite in her leg, but not very serious, she got treatment in the ecarisaj and we moved her to quarantine 2 kennel 2. Not a lot of space to move and no colleagues to keep her company, but a great opportunity to be able to eat properly and be safe for a bit. She is a darling, very delicate and sweet, about 55 cm, born 02.2021 and grew up in the ecarisaj. She really needs a home, we have asked the vets to keep her in the quarantine kennel until a solution hopefully comes up for her, returning to her old kennel would be a tragedy.

    - The babies of the Samari family, quarantine 2 (ex 239) - very vulnerable and very delicate, trying hard to adapt. They are so sweet, all struggling to fit in the food bowl.
    Soly was the only really lucky one for now, he is booked for adoption and left the ecarisaj on 01.12. He is now in Suceag, waiting to be old enough to travel to his family. We hope the rest of them will get lucky too.

    - Blizzard - kennel 44 - handsome big boy, about 74 cm shoulder height, born 11.2020, very active, very friendly and very hungry. He is quite in the ecarisaj, trying to deal with the ecarisaj conditions. He is positive and playful, a great boy for an active family.

    - Corinne, kennel 49 - super sweet and lovely girl, probably rather young (official age still to be confirmed), medium size. She is absolutely affectionate and will make a great family dog,she just needs a chance.

    - Pancake, outside kennel 1 - adorable puppy girl, born 09.2023, super friendly, sweet and adoptable, hoping the best for her!

    Summary:

    - Lolek & Bolek (kennel 50) - the 2 young brothers are a delight, we took them for a walk outside, they finally got to see (and eat) some grass after so much time. They were overwhelmed at first, everything was so new, they probably don't even remember much about what lies outside the small ecarisaj kennel. They are really lovely boys, they accept the leash, they are both under 50 cm (Lolek about 47-48 cm, Bolek about 48-49 cm). They are very friendly, sweet and adoptable, in a family they would learn everything very fast and become great family members.

    - Sabbi kennel 52 - Sabbi is a gorgeous boy, he is still shy but making good progress. He is a bit more relaxed than last time, he even ate treats from my hand, but unfortunately I could not capture this on video because my attempt to pet him scared him and he got very cautious after that and did not want to eat from the hand anymore. He is not aggressive, he just tries anything he can in order to avoid direct close contact. He is a young boy, surely recoverable, but would need patience and time. His experience with people so far has surely not been great. He is skinny but has longer legs, I think he is around 55 cm. IMG_6572.jpg

    - Veteran Eiko, kennel 45 - A sad sad story, a puppy growing up in the ecarisaj and ending up becoming a veteran. Eiko came into the ecarisaj in July 2019, as a scared puppy. He does not know anything but the ecarisaj. He is very cautious with people and not at ease. He is not aggressive, he just tries to avoid human contact if possible. He needs an experienced family, who can teach him about all the things that he missed. I am sure he will be happy to re-live a better version of his wasted childhood, if given the chance. He is about 45 cm, hard to measure exactly, a very handsome and sweet boy who just had zero luck in the 4.5 years of his life. IMG_6579.jpg

    - Amanda, kennel 43 - This girl is such a darling, positive, loving and beautiful. She has been in the ecarisaj since 05.2022, born in 2020, about 57 cm shoulder height. All she wants is human love and affection, she would fit in any loving family. She ignores any barking around her, she would very likely get along with any dogs without issues. IMG_6600.jpg

    - kennel 47 - Very friendly and athletic boy, in the ecarisaj since 09.2022, estimated to be born 09.2020, about 65 cm shoulder height. He is active and playful and curious, the small kennel is such a pain for him. He would surely love to go hiking instead or do some agility training. We hope the best for him.

    - Veteran Pluto, kennel 60 - PERFECT dog, as described in so many of Carmen's updates as well. No clue why and how no one adopted him yet. He is just the best kind of dog, gentle, sweet, loving, calm and very much longing for human affection but without being pushy. He has been in the ecarisaj since 04.2020, estimated to be born 2014, about 60 cm. He helped with tests for other dogs, he is a real gentleman, he walks on a leash like a pro. He probably used to have an owner sometime, it is such a shame for him to spend years of his life locked in an ecarisaj kennel. I really really hope someone sees him and falls in love with him very soon. IMG_6652.jpg

    - Veteran Nemo, kennel 95 - Nemo has been in the ecarisaj since 12.2019, he was estimated to be born 2016, he is about 50-55 cm and a handsome sweet shy boy who just needs a chance. He can be petted without any problems, in a more welcoming environment he would soon turn into a lovely happy companion. He is calm and gentle, surely no issues integrating into a pack. IMG_6671.jpg

    - The 3 puppies in the quarantine - Loki (male, probably a husky/malamute mix) and the 2 siblings Bailey (male) and Brandy (female). All of them are adoptable, friendly and sweet, very unhappy to be there. We really hope their chance to leave this place will come along soon.

    - Raven was relocated from the quarantine, we are still waiting for information where he is now.

    - Yodi is still in there, but will probably soon be moved to the kennels as well.
