Summary:
- Veteran Conall kennel 221 - Great news for the lovely senior, thanks to Ralu and her sweet young boy who came in for a young kid test, Conall has found a place in Germany via Pfotengluck, and will soon leave the ecarisaj after 6 LONG YEARS. Thank you so much, words cannot express how happy we are for him!
- Old and tired senior dog, adopted 2008 from the ecarisaj, and now found in a very poor shape, not able to stand up and not eating well. Apparently he has an owner and in theory, he wants to come and take him to a vet clinic. We'll have to wait and see what happens next week and how we can act in the best interest of the dog 
- Agila kennel 67 - We visited again briefly to assess if he is ready to come out for a walk in the grass, but sadly he is not there yet. He happily eats treats from us and he allows us to pet him but without being able to trust or relax completely. A short trip outside is not suitable yet, it would probably cause too much stress. We are trying to advocate for his transfer into a better kennel, hoping to be successful soon. Meanwhile, I am still very sure that he is fully recoverable, he just needs patient loving people and a safe environment.
- Cato kennel 79 - We took Cato out for a walk this time, a very nice experience. He didn't know what to expect first, he was a bit cautious because of the harness and he needed a bit of support to come out of the kennel that served as his home for the last 3 years. But we finally got out and when he saw himself on the grass, it was pure excitement and happiness. He is a very nice dog, balanced and handsome. As mentioned before, he has strabismus (esotropia), but it doesn't bother him. His sight seems to be perfectly normal. When going back, he walked so nicely and ignored all the barking and agitation around him. He happily and politely wagged his tail at some of the colleagues we passed by. He is also very nice and friendly to his neighbors, he greets and sometimes attempts to play through the fence. Born approx. 2020, about 56-57 cm, very adoptable and loving. We wish him the best.
- Kennel 78 - New girl in the ecarisaj, since 10.06.2024, estimated date of birth 06.2022, 50 cm, she is a very friendly girl, obviously very used to being around people, demanding attention and offering big kisses and hugs. The poor girl is still processing her landing in the ecarisaj. She is agitated, sometimes quarrelling a bit with her neighbors through the fence, but it could also be that this is just her way of expressing her frustration for being here.
- Veteran Theo - kennel 77 - Theo is such a wonderful boy, in the ecarisaj since 05.2019, estimated date of birth 12.2015, 54-55 cm. He is a bit shy, but very sweet and with a lovely teddy bear look. He is happy to get treats and attention, he can be petted really nicely, although he is still not 100% sure he can trust people completely. He is a darling, not aggressive in any way, he would soon recover in a suitable environment. He deserves a loving family so much, he surely has a lot to offer.
- Veteran Kayle kennel 75 - Another veteran, Kayle has been in the ecarisaj since 06.2020, estimated date of birth 06.2016, about 53-56 cm. He is still shy, not taking treats from the hand, but very happy to enjoy them if people are at a safe distance. He is afraid of close contact, but he is very peaceful, he allowed us to pet him without reacting aggressively. He would have prefered to disappear, but he remained docile and accepted his fate. He is a delicate and sweet boy, and we will surely bother him again, he is definitely recoverable, like so many other nice dogs who just never had the luck of having good people by their side.
- Fernando kennel 80 - Handsome young boy, recently brought into the ecarisaj, born approx. 2021-2022, still quite stressed and not trusting people, but interested enough to pick up his yummy treat. He is not ready for close human contact yet, he probably has traumatising events that have left a mark on him. We hope he will soon gain some more trust, and not assume the worst when humans try to approach him.
- Zucca kennel 81 - Since 05.2021 in the ecarisaj, estimated date of birth 05.2014, 53-54 cm, Zucca is a very sad sight, despite the fact that she is a very beautiful girl Her fur is in bad shape, her left eye is blind, and she does not trust people. She is not aggressive in any way, but she just does pretty much everything to avoid close contact with humans. She is very active and dynamic, not showing her age at all from the energy point of view, and if she knows that she must get rid of the annoying people who are trying to get too close to her, she can run and squeeze herself through really tight spaces. She can be touched briefly while running by, she has absolutely no aggressive reactions - which is, to be honest, odd and unexpected since she is so determined to get away - most dogs who feel trapped, and are not in freeze mode, would definitely attempt to bite. She does about anything else to escape, but she did not make any attempt to snap/bite. She is a hard case, her only chance would be experienced people, willing to give a chance to a dog with very little chances to ever leave the ecarisaj. The positive part is that she agreed to eat good treats while we were nearby. We hope her miracle comes along, she very much needs it.
- Erle kennel 37 - Erle has a fan who is interested in adopting her, but his current place to live does not allow it yet. He has 3 other dogs, of which he brought one to meet her today. Erle seemed to be reactive to the other dog (who was also scared coming into the ecarisaj - no wonder), but he has experience and he is looking for options so that he can first separate them, and take time to integrate Erle into his family. For now, nothing certain, we hope the best for the beautiful girl.
- Puppies outside kennel 1:
3 wonderful sweet puppies, around 2.5 - 3.5 months old:
Liana (F) - she is a dream dog, if she ends up in a right family I bet she will be just perfect. Sweet darling, so loving and so balanced for a puppy, I hope she finds people who deserve her.
Limir (M) - super friendly boy, kissing and hugging everyone
- Lido (M) - super friendly sweet boy, loving and affectionate, sadly with his right ear partially cut / bitten off (certainly an older event, now completely healed)
- Puppies outside kennel 2 - just a video, super lovely black-ish gang, sadly no time for individual photos today. All of them are sweet and trying to cope with the situation.
