Dragu kennel 15 - Date of birth 01.2022, in the ecarisaj since 09.2023 (with a short break where he was adopted by an older family that was very inappropriate for him, and then brought back). He was really happy to come out for a walk today, with volunteer Alexandra. Dragu is such a sweet and positive boy, very affectionate, very active and soooo bored in the lonely ugly ecarisaj kennel. He longs for people and for action, he loves everyone he meets - people and dogs. Some dogs are not particularly happy about his exuberant way of being, but he reacts so nicely and peacefully to their disapproval, like "ok, you don't want to play, your loss, I'll mind my own business then". He walks great on a leash, he cherishes every moment, and he can't get enough of human affection. A truly great boy, a good mood dog, very adoptable for an active and loving family.“

Dragu (Zwinger 15) – Geboren im Januar 2022, in der Ecarisaj seit September 2023 (mit einer kurzen Unterbrechung, in der er von einer älteren Familie adoptiert, aber aufgrund unpassender Bedingungen wieder zurückgebracht wurde). Er hat sich heute riesig gefreut, mit der Freiwilligen Alexandra spazieren gehen zu dürfen. Dragu ist ein so lieber und positiver Rüde – sehr verschmust, sehr aktiv und soooo gelangweilt in seinem einsamen, trostlosen Zwinger. Er sehnt sich nach Menschen und Beschäftigung; er liebt jeden, dem er begegnet – ob Mensch oder Hund. Manche Hunde sind von seiner überschwänglichen Art nicht gerade begeistert, doch er reagiert auf deren Ablehnung stets freundlich und gelassen – ganz nach dem Motto: „Okay, du willst nicht spielen? Dein Pech, dann beschäftige ich mich eben anderweitig.“ Er läuft hervorragend an der Leine, genießt jeden Augenblick und kann gar nicht genug von menschlicher Zuwendung bekommen. Ein wirklich toller Hund, der gute Laune verbreitet und sich wunderbar für eine aktive, liebevolle Familie eignet.

Novalee kennel 14 - The sad story of a puppy on the way of becoming a veteran in the ecarisaj She is born 07.2023, in the ecarisaj since 09.2023. She is the last one of the gang of puppies she was together with, all the others were adopted and they have turned into wonderful dogs in their new families. She is the one that was always left behind - maybe because she is black and a bit shy, maybe because she is simply less fortunate. Today, we took her out for a walk in the grass. She is so docile and sweet, not a single aggressive reaction. She allowed us to put her harness and leash on, and carry her out in the grass. I thought she would freeze and need more time to process the event, but she surprised us and started sniffing around and carefully exploring despite the novelty of the situation. She happily ate grass and she enjoyed her time out. She let us pet her nicely, and allowed us to groom her tangled fur. Sadly, we noticed that she has bilateral otitis, probably chronic by now We will start some treatment next week, but the ecarisaj is unfortunately not a good place to heal. Novalee is a sweet and delicate girl who would learn very fast and become a loving family member alongside the right people - affectionate and patient. She is of course compatible with all other dogs, she spent years in a kennel with Cinnamon, Nabbi and Neoma (all of them adopted now). Fingers crossed that her ticket will also come, all she needs is a chance.“

Novalee, Zwinger 14 – Die traurige Geschichte einer Hündin, die in der Ecarisaj langsam zur „Veteranin“ wird Sie wurde im Juli 2023 geboren und ist seit September 2023 dort untergebracht. Sie ist die Letzte aus ihrer Welpengruppe; alle anderen wurden adoptiert und haben sich in ihren neuen Familien zu wunderbaren Hunden entwickelt. Sie blieb immer zurück – vielleicht weil sie schwarz und etwas schüchtern ist, vielleicht weil sie einfach weniger Glück hatte. Heute haben wir sie für einen Spaziergang ins Gras mitgenommen. Sie ist so sanftmütig und lieb, ohne jede Spur von Aggression. Sie ließ sich problemlos das Geschirr und die Leine anlegen und ins Gras tragen. Ich hatte erwartet, dass sie vor Schreck erstarren und Zeit brauchen würde, um die Situation zu verarbeiten, doch sie überraschte uns: Trotz der ungewohnten Umgebung begann sie zu schnüffeln und die Gegend vorsichtig zu erkunden. Sie fraß fröhlich etwas Gras und genoss den Ausflug. Sie ließ sich bereitwillig streicheln und ihr verfilztes Fell pflegen. Leider stellten wir fest, dass sie an einer beidseitigen Ohrenentzündung leidet, die inzwischen wahrscheinlich chronisch ist Wir werden nächste Woche mit einer Behandlung beginnen, doch die Ecarisaj ist leider kein Ort, an dem man gut genesen kann. Novalee ist eine liebe und zarte Hündin, die sehr schnell lernen würde und bei den richtigen Menschen – liebevoll und geduldig – zu einem wunderbaren Familienmitglied heranwachsen könnte. Natürlich versteht sie sich gut mit anderen Hunden; sie hat jahrelang gemeinsam mit Cinnamon, Nabbi und Neoma (die inzwischen alle adoptiert wurden) in einem Zwinger gelebt. Wir drücken die Daumen, dass auch für sie bald der Tag des Aufbruchs kommt; sie braucht nur eine Chance.

Veteran Jamie kennel 89 - Since 04.2022 in the ecarisaj, born 2019. The kennel is such a prison for Jamie, he is a very dynamic and friendly boy. He was so excited to come out for a walk with volunteers Roxana & Florin. He really enjoyed the walk, he would very much need this every day not once every 2 years He is super happy about people, he was not so happy about Dragu but I would not necessarily draw any conclusions based on the one interaction, he was over excited to finally get out of his prison cell after so much time.“

Der erfahrene Rüde Jamie (Zwinger 89) – geboren 2019 – lebt seit April 2022 in der Ecarisaj. Der Zwinger ist wie ein Gefängnis für Jamie; er ist ein sehr lebhafter und freundlicher Rüde. Er war voller Begeisterung, als er mit den Freiwilligen Roxana und Florin zu einem Spaziergang aufbrechen durfte. Er hat den Ausflug sehr genossen – so etwas bräuchte er eigentlich täglich, nicht nur alle zwei Jahre Er freut sich riesig über Menschenkontakt; mit dem Rüden Dragu verstand er sich zwar nicht auf Anhieb gut, doch daraus würde ich nicht unbedingt voreilige Schlüsse ziehen, denn Jamie war einfach überdreht vor Freude, endlich nach so langer Zeit seine Gefängniszelle verlassen zu dürfen.

Bartley kennel 84 - Roxana and Florin also walked Bartley for a bit, this old lady does not need any more praise or information, she is just perfect, super clever and wise and she needs her family. She is still getting treatment for her otitis - very hard in the ecarisaj We are just wondering why no one has seen her yet?🙏 Just a recap - born 2018, since the end of 2023/beginning of 2024 in the ecarisaj, very social and simply wonderful, compatible with all other dogs (one of the best "test" dogs in the ecarisaj) and in love with all humans.“

Bartley (Zwinger 84) – Roxana und Florin sind auch eine Runde mit Bartley spazieren gegangen; diese alte Dame braucht kein weiteres Lob und keine weiteren Erklärungen mehr – sie ist einfach perfekt, unglaublich klug und weise, und sie braucht ihre Familie. Sie wird weiterhin wegen ihrer Ohrenentzündung behandelt – was in der Ecarisaj sehr schwierig ist Wir fragen uns einfach, warum sie noch niemand entdeckt hat? 🙏 Hier noch einmal das Wichtigste zusammengefasst: Geboren 2018, seit Ende 2023/Anfang 2024 in der Ecarisaj, sehr sozial und einfach wunderbar, verträglich mit allen anderen Hunden (eine der besten „Test-Hündinnen“ in der Ecarisaj) und absolut menschenbezogen.

Vito kennel 176 - Another puppy on his way to becoming a veteran We also took Vito out for a walk today. As expected, he was reluctant about the harness and leash at first , but he allowed us to carry him outside. Again, as expected, he was overwhelmed about the situation, but he was also excited and very curious. In a matter of seconds after finding himself on the grass, he started exploring, he pretty much forgot about the leash and just enjoyed the grass, the smells and the opportunity to walk outside. Volunteer Nicolas spent a lot of time with him, allowing him to have a real vacation. Full of new impressions, a bit insecure at times, but also really eager to learn and explore. He is a great boy, we hope he will be given the chance to learn about the real life outside the ecarisaj. He is happy about people and treats, and ready for a new life.

Vito, Zwinger 176 – noch ein Hund, der langsam zum „Veteranen“ wird Wir waren heute mit Vito spazieren. Wie erwartet war er anfangs etwas zögerlich, was Geschirr und Leine betraf, ließ sich aber problemlos nach draußen tragen. Ebenfalls erwartungsgemäß war er von der Situation zunächst überwältigt, zeigte sich aber auch aufgeregt und sehr neugierig. Kaum stand er auf dem Gras, begann er sofort zu erkunden; die Leine war schnell vergessen, und er genoss einfach das Gras, die Gerüche und die Möglichkeit, draußen zu laufen. Der freiwillige Helfer Nicolas verbrachte viel Zeit mit ihm und bescherte ihm so einen kleinen „Urlaub“. Voller neuer Eindrücke, manchmal etwas unsicher, aber auch sehr lern- und entdeckungsfreudig. Er ist ein toller Kerl, und wir hoffen, dass er die Chance bekommt, das echte Leben außerhalb der Ecarisaj kennenzulernen. Er freut sich über Menschen und Leckerlis und ist bereit für ein neues Leben.

Eine mittelgroße Hündin mit langen Beinen, aber schlanker Statur – etwa 50–55 cm groß und 4 Jahre alt. Es ist eine wahre Freude, Zeit mit ihr zu verbringen; sie ist liebevoll, positiv, verspielt und voller Energie, aber auch ruhig und sanftmütig.

102.1 – Schwarzes Mädchen mit Weiß auf der Brust – Sie ist sehr freundlich und gesellig, verspielt und süß. Mit der Kamera kaum festzuhalten, denn die Begeisterung ist riesig, wann immer sie Besuch hat. Sie ist etwa 48-50 cm groß, eine sehr überschaubare Größe und ein sehr anpassungsfähiges Mädchen.
