Dear all,
it is important for us get in contact with you all, to hear your opinion.
Currently it is not possible for us to take care up all the emergency dogs from the Ecarisaj – we reached the financial and the personnel limit.
But there are to many of thin dogs in the Ecarisaj and here we have to react and we have to provide the dogs with additional food. End of last year we sent 600 kg food for this and now we are going to send again ca. 458 kg.
If it is possible please talk to each other and work together and please take care that the dogs will receive additional food each day (so each day one of you should be in the Ecarisaj to feed the dogs)! It is not enough to be at the Ecarisaj only once or twice a week. We also recommend to deworm the thin dogs regularly, because the parasites could be also a reason for their undernourishment. We will pay for this.
At the moment it is definitely not possible for us taking further dogs out of the Ecarisay, “only” because they are very thin, but we can do something against this: to feed, to feed and to feed.
One question: do you still feed secretly without knowledge of the staff or do they see the necessity in the meantime?
Please notice for dogs who need urgently help we are still trying to help as best as we can.
Please tell me what else can we do to make the life of the dogs in the Ecarisaj a little bit more comfortable. Are you allowed to put dog baskets in the kennels? I think it does not make any sense to put blankets into the baskets, as they got probably wet by cleaning the boxes and then the dogs have to lie on wet blankets. Are you allowed to put isolated doghouses in the kennels?
You are in Cluj, so please let us know.
Kindest regards
Michi

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
Michi
