Zitat von RalucaAlles anzeigenA medical update on Luise, we did the x-rays and blood tests and also we went to see Dr. Ober for her orthopedic problems.
The good news is that there are no tumors on her lungs so we can operate the other mammary chain and she will be tumor free.
The bad news is that she has serious problems with her joints, she also has dysplasia and she has neurological problems on her back legs caused by in growths on her spine (the reflexes on her back legs are affected). Unfortunately I didn't get a medical letter from the doctor nor did I get options for her treatment because mine and his vacation were one after the other, but we decided to meet at some point next week, when he will be back in Cluj and discuss what we can do next to help her and what is the best treatment to make her as comfortable as possible.
The doctors that did the x-ray told me that her heart seems to be enlarged, so we'll also need to see a doctor for that and establish if there is a need for some kind of treatment. Her bladder is also not 100% ok, we repeated the ultrasound and the doctor saw some deposits in-there, but we're not sure what they are, we need to get an urine sample from her and do some more tests.
The plan is to operate on her remaining tumor at some point next week, meet dr. Ober and discuss the join problems and also do the urine test and see what comes out of there.
Despite her many health issues, Luise and a very happy dog, she is happy to be caressed and to play, has a great appetite and she enjoys life. She is like a mummy to our new puppy (which I'll introduce next) and enjoys very much his company. I tested her some more with our cats and unfortunately she's totally incompatible with them, she keeps on barking even if she just sees them and doesn't have access to them.
I'll send another update after I have more clear information about her remaining health issues, unfortunately I have very little time to take care of the dog stuff and that's why it takes so long.
