She is beautiful, she is loving, she is a little shy and always calm and dignified. She is Beka!
Her name is Beka, she almost one year old. She is such a calm and pretty cat.
So, her story. This summer somone abandoned two kittens in the area of my office. An old woman found them and came to the office to call me but i was on a business trip. After that i went in vacation. She came again. My colleagues always told me - one woman came again and wanted to talk to you about two kittens. At this time i had 9 cats at home, another 4 in foster home, another 2 in clinic and i was overwhelmed. So, i went to the woman and told her that i cannot help.
The kittens were Beka and her brother. They grew up, the woman fed them and in the autumn dogs killed the brother of Beka. After that i felt very guilty and started feeding Beka. She came in the office yard but there lives Sivushka - a cat from the local cat colony. Together with Sivushka in the office yard come 5+ wild cats to eat and they started attacking Beka. She had no where to go and slept under the cars and on a pile of dead trees. It was visible Beka cannot handle life on the street. She was alone, filled with fear and chased by other cats. I waited until at least one of my foster cats goes for Germany and immediately took Beka home. Every day i went to work and my heart was heavy if i will see Beka again.
Beka had lung parasytes which we treated with Panakur. She is now vaccinated and tested for FIV and Felv and only castration is left.
Beka is a very calm cat. She plays with other cats and enjoyes their company. She plays but is not very active, she prefers to sleep or just sit around. She doesn`t like to be taken into arms. She is medium cuddly - not the type of cats that will follow you and rub around. But in evening she insists to sleep on my face. It is very funny - i remove her and she comes back immediately. She is very insistent on being close to me in night.
She doesn`t climb on tables and kitchen counters. As i said - she is very calm and gentle.
