ZitatThis is Codi, a 2 years old medium size male with only 3 legs. His story is a very sad one. He used to have a master until January, but he wasn’t well cared for and he was left out on the streets – that’s how he got hit by a car. The same master waited a week until he took the dog to the vet, so the dog ended up losing his leg and at the same time his master because faced with owning a “broken” dog the master decided to abandon him at the vet. Since then he has been living on the streets, taken care of by Carmen, probably the only volunteer who visits weekly the dogs in the pound. Unfortunately last week the dog catchers were called and he was picked up from the street, now he is in kennel 83 of the Cluj City pound. The first pictures with him are from this winter, when he was operated. He has recovered greatly, he’s an energetic dog, very happy, jumping around like a ball and despite his handicap and what he’s been though in the last half a year he still has great love for people. He needs a different kind of master now, a special one that can see though his handicap that he’s a great special dog and who can offer him a loving and this time forever home. Carmen also deserves that someone else steps in this time and helps, she has invested a lot of love and time during the years for the dogs in the pound and this is a dog she really loves and unfortunately she can’t help. Thank you!
