Wo ist denn jetzt die Osterüberraschung?
Ich wünsche Milka einen Platz für ihren Rollstuhl, natürlich mit Milka zusammen und ohne Käfig. Hat der Osterhase so etwas?

Über das Osterwunder entscheidet Birgit, die eine so hervorragende Tierschutzarbeit, zusammen mit den Tierschützern in Moskau, macht. Ob nun ein alter Schäferhundrüde oder aber Milka oder sogar beide, ein neues Leben in Freiheit und Sicherheit bekommen, müssen wir noch sehen.

Ohhhhh..... Milka has 2 bedsores on her hips again(((( Her carer Masha found her laying dirty in urine in the cage in the hospital(((( Poor girl!((((

Her carer Masha Maria123 had surgery on her eyes, so she couldn't visit the shelter and didn't control the doctors((. The result is terrible! Before Milka looked like a doll)). She was very clean and the nurse Larisa took good care of Milka. The doctor changed the nurse and now the volunteers have to buy a lot of drugs for Milka to treat her((((

Schrecklich, arme Milka...

I am so sorry for this very special dog. But I don't have one single idea as how to help her.

Is it at all possible to take her out of hospital to a foster home? If she is not cared for properly at this vet why does one have to leave her there? Looking at the elder pictures I had the impression that she was well taken care for. Is that all due to her one carer? Who has now had an operation herself?

Does Milka get training for the hind legs? Do they react at all to stimulation? And why is it she could not get another operation?

Questions- so many questions in my head but sorry! no single idea as how to bring Milka into a better life... But I keep her in mind. I know someone who is fostering a small paralysed dog and a veterinarian who has specialised in training dogs like Milka. I shall talk to them both and maybe they have an idea...

I don't have the facilities to take her, I don't have the money to support her but I do give her a place right in my heart. Maybe something comes out of this... Nothing more I have to offer for the time being... Sorry...

Thank you so much for your attention to the thread of Milka! Milka has a volunteer, who takes care of her. But the volunteers visit the shelter mostly once a week. Milka stays at the hospital. Before there was a very nice nurse, who loved Milka and took good care of her. At this moment this nurse doesn't work in the hospital((( The new one probably is not so responsible or needs time. Milka doesn't have time. Just a few days of bad treatment and she has 2 bedsores already. (((
There is no chance for Milka to recover completely, but she definetly needs a chance for better life. She is such an adorable dog!
If the conditions in the hospital are not changed for Milka, the volunteers would have to look for a foster home for her. But foster homes in Moscow it is kind of business and costs a lot of money. Unfortunately.
