(I´m ashamed not making fotos today. The cam still waits at home.....) But the very new is: First time Gerry jump out of my bed when I went in. Yesterday night he only turns his head, looks strait in my eyes and said: Ey, don´t you disturb me!!! Crawls under the bed blanket and slept on. And very important !! he needs a pillow to lay his head.

Tagesbeginn:

Ella quiekt in den höchsten Tönen. Nanook trottet laaaaaangsam zur Haustür. Gerry legt sich quer vor meine Füsse.
Los Frauchen mach hin!!!!
Hunde angeleint.
Knoten die 1.
Alle Hundenasen kleben am Haustürspalt. Ella springt schnell nochmal von links nach rechts.
Knoten die 2.
Karo drängelt sich nach vorne. ICH GEHE ZUERST!!!
Tür geht auf, Karo geht ganz rechts, damit die Hunde links an ihr vorbeikönnen...
Ella rennt links, Gerry rechts, Nanook zwischen den Beinen durch.
Toll! Knoten die 3.
Karo befreit ihre Beine aus den Leinen.
Knoten die 4.

Fazit:
Wir müssen das Bleib üben!!!
Nach dieser Nummer hab ich den ganzen Tag gute Laune. Die Nachbarin beömmelt sich immer.

Und nun zum eigentlichen Thema zurück: Gerry

Gerry ist ne echt coole Socke!!! verliebt bin
Er läuft ohne Leine in der Feldmark, bespielt und bespaßt meine Hunde. ( die NIE getobt haben)
Er kommt auf Zuruf zurück, er springt ins Auto, er hört zu, er akzeptiert NEIN, er ist schneller als der Blitz,
er ist ein Schoßhund, er ist stubenrein, er geht gut an der Leine, er ist sehr sozial und und und.
Najaaaaaaaaaa, son paar Sachen müssen wir noch üben. Aber woher soll er auch bei Fuß gehen können....

Eben hat es bei mir geklingelt.

Ein fremdes Ehepaar steht vor der Tür:
"Sie haben doch auch so einen kranken Hund."
"Nein, er hat nur drei Beine" sage ich.
Sie reicht mir eine Tüte mit den Worten: " Na dann können sie das ja gut gebrauchen!"
Günlippmuschel, Arthrosemittel, Futter und ein paar andere Kleinigkeiten.
Ihr Hund ist wohl gerade über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen.

Ich hab micht total gefreut! Es gibt doch noch tolle Menschen!!!!

Oh ja es gibt sie .....diese Gattung ist leider vom Aussterben bedroht.

Schön das Gerry sich so gut eingelebt hat...

Habs doch geschafft! Mit vielen Tücken.

Irgendwie fehlt mir immer eine Hand. Cam, Leckertüte, Lecker werfen und Bilder machen ist echt schwer.
Vor allem weil Gerry klebt wie Pattex.

When I saw the photos of Jerry and you in our forum - I thought and even wrote to Birgit - that this is one of that not often happened situations - when an owner and a dog - look alike!!
Another volunteer from our shelter - with whom we spoke about you and Jerry - said the same - she also believs that you both look alike  


In the photos it's clearly seen - that Jerry is loved I even would say - adored by your family!
He is happy! And he is soooooooo sweet (unfortunately russians failed to see all his charm)!
And now, thanks to you and all the people who helped him to get to Germany, he is examining the world again - remebering what grass, sun, clouds, rivers are!


I wish you and all your family and pets - long and helathy life!!

Gerry is very clevel and he understands of people, at shelter he always helped me to walk with other dogs, he everywhere with me like a tile))

Fotos are splendid - if he could imagine that he would walk through the forest and drink from the stream!

I think Gerry is already at home.
He tests his limits. This morning he "tells" that the neighbor is a very dangerous woman. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
