Alejandro - schwer misshandelt (ACHTUNG FOTOS)

    Ich hatte mich an der Petition beteiligt. Ich habe aber nicht herausgefunden, wie es weitergegangen ist mit Alejandro.
    Jetzt weiß ich es!

    Ich freue mich sehr für süßen Burschen!! Ich glaube, er hat es dort richtig gut getroffen!!!

    Und jetzt hab ich die ganze Zeit dieses blöde Lied von Lady Gaga "Alejandro" im Kopf ... ;( ;( ;(

    The sentence was made public today, March 2nd:
    10-MONTH PRISON TERM
    2-YEAR LOSS OF VOTING RIGHTS
    2-YEAR DISQUALIFICATION FROM KEEPING ANIMALS
    AND PAYMENT OF THE VETERINARY BILLS.

    Although for many it may seem to come up short, we are very happy: this is one of the harshest sentences every imposed in Spain for abusing a dog, and it will clearly set a precedent.
    We believe that the disqualification should be for life, but we are still very, very pleased.
    We want to thank the lawyers Mr. Jesus Perez Perez and Ms. Mª Reyes del Pozo Fernández for their altruistic support for Alejandro's cause, considering that they came down from Seville.
    Thank you to the Police Officers who rescued Alejandro and testified so firmly during the Trial. And to the veterinarians who treated him: Dr. Luisa Plaza Moreno, for her exhaustive and wonderful treatment, and her confidence and clarity in Alejandro's state, and Dr. Juan R. Cotillas Prieto, for his certainty in diagnosing the head fractures. And, of course, to the Judge for her finding.
    And thank you to the entire Team at "Siempre Contigo", who, from the first day, did everything they could for that dying dog who taught us what it means to truly want to live and how to be a real fighter.

    CONGRATULATIONS, ALEJANDRO. ALL THE BEST TO YOU: YOU'RE A WINNER. NEVER LOSE THAT WILL TO FIGHT ON.
    ALTHOUGH NO SENTENCE CAN REMOVE THE SCARS LEFT ON YOU AND THE PAIN YOU CONTINUE TO SUFFER: ALEJANDRO MAGNO, THE FIGHTER ... YOU'VE WON!!!!


    note: the maltreator won´t go to jail, he needs to have 2 years and one day to do it, but for us this sentence is really important, it´s a succesful for dogs maltreators in Spain, the sentence will be used in a future for other ones, so, we think this might be the beginning of the end about animal´s rights in this country.

    Alejandro is happy, he lives with Angeles and her family and is the most loved dog in the world, he knows he has so many wonderful friends everywhere and that gives him the enough positivity to survive everyday.

    Thanks so much to all of you for your wonderful support since all this started ! We will keep fighting for animal´s rights from this little corner in the South of Europe ! you can be sure of that !

    Ach, es ist einfach zum Heulen schön, wenn ein so furchtbares Martyrium wie es Alejandro durchmachen mußte, ein solches Ende gefunden hat.

    Ich freue mich sehr über dieses Urteil und die Stärkung des Tierschutzes in Spanien.

    Hoffentlich hat der Bursche noch ein paar schöne Jahre, und der Besitzer einen "netten" Aufenthalt im Gefängnis
