Hello,
I'd love to introduce the newest additions: three tiny orphan kittens who have had a very unexpected start in life.
Last week, we trapped a stray female cat as part of our Trap-Neuter-Return program. At the time, we had no idea she was pregnant. Only a few hours after trapping her, she gave birth to three beautiful kittens.
Unfortunately, years of surviving on the streets had taken a heavy toll on their mother. She was exhausted, extremely frightened of us and in poor health (one missing eye, gingivostomatitis, missing teeth). Despite our best efforts to give her a quiet and safe environment, she rejected the kittens immediately after birth and was unable to care for them. We took her to the vet, treated whatever we could and then she was neutered and released back to the place she was used to.
From that moment on, they became bottle babies.
They are now being fed every few hours, monitored closely with daily weigh-ins, and receiving around-the-clock care. They remain very young and fragile, but so far they are growing well and fighting hard.
The sweetest part of their story is that Jade, one of our foster cats who is still waiting for a family of her own, immediately took them under her wing. Although she has no milk and didn't give birth to them, she keeps them warm, grooms them, cuddles them and watches over them like they were always hers. It has been incredible to watch her choose to love them so completely. It takes a village to raise a kitten 🤍
Whoever adopts Jade will be a very lucky family because she is an absolute sweetheart.

If everything continues to go well, they will be ready to travel after 10 November 2026, when they reach 16 weeks of age and have completed their vaccination protocol.
We will keep you updated with photos and videos as they grow.
We would like for them to be adopted in a house where there is already another cat or in pairs - if possible, 2 together or 1 of them together with Jade (if she doesn't find a home until then).
Also, we would appreciate help with covering the costs of their milk and vet care. We are going through a hard time financially, and after Forest and Ivy we know the costs for bottle-fed kittens will be high, so we need every help we can get. Attached are some of the kittens' bills (Ivy, Forest & Nori, Suki, Mochi).
Ich möchte euch gerne unsere Neuzugänge vorstellen: drei winzige Katzenwaisen, die einen sehr unerwarteten Start ins Leben hatten.
Letzte Woche haben wir im Rahmen unseres „Trap-Neuter-Return“-Programms (Einfangen, Kastrieren, Freilassen) eine streunende Kätzin eingefangen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt ahnten wir nicht, dass sie trächtig war. Nur wenige Stunden nach ihrer Rettung brachte sie drei wunderschöne Kätzchen zur Welt.
Leider hatte das jahrelange Leben auf der Straße ihrer Mutter stark zugesetzt. Sie war völlig erschöpft, hatte schreckliche Angst vor uns und war gesundheitlich angeschlagen (ein fehlendes Auge, Gingivostomatitis, fehlende Zähne). Trotz unserer Bemühungen, ihr eine ruhige und sichere Umgebung zu bieten, lehnte sie die Kleinen direkt nach der Geburt ab und konnte sich nicht um sie kümmern. Wir brachten sie zum Tierarzt, behandelten alles, was möglich war, ließen sie kastrieren und brachten sie anschließend wieder an ihren gewohnten Ort zurück.
Von diesem Moment an wurden die Kleinen zu Flaschenkindern.
Sie werden nun alle paar Stunden gefüttert, durch tägliches Wiegen genau überwacht und rund um die Uhr betreut. Sie sind noch sehr jung und zerbrechlich, aber bisher entwickeln sie sich gut und kämpfen tapfer.
Das Schönste an ihrer Geschichte ist, dass Jade – eine unserer Pflegekatzen, die noch auf eine eigene Familie wartet – die Kleinen sofort unter ihre Fittiche genommen hat. Obwohl sie keine Milch gibt und sie nicht selbst zur Welt gebracht hat, hält sie die Kleinen warm, putzt und kuschelt mit ihnen und wacht über sie, als wären sie schon immer ihre eigenen gewesen. Es ist unglaublich zu sehen, wie sehr sie sich entschieden hat, sie bedingungslos zu lieben. Man braucht ein ganzes Dorf, um ein Kätzchen großzuziehen 🤍
Wer Jade adoptiert, darf sich glücklich schätzen, denn sie ist ein absoluter Schatz.
