Hello,
We have 7 more new kittens in our care, today I will present you Pixie and Elfy whom you might have seen in Ronnie's and Harry's albums.
Pixie đ§ââđ€
Sheâs our little fairy â so small she feels like a pixel in your hand, yet she carries a universe of magic inside her. âš
Pixie was found abandoned by my brother when she was only around 4 weeks old. Alone, fragile, and far too tiny to survive on her own⊠but love stepped in. Our amazing vets took her in and cared for her during those delicate first weeks, when we were on vacation, giving her the warmth and safety she so desperately needed. She was full of fleas,
We took her in, but just when things seemed brighter, life reminded us how fragile she still is. A sudden medical emergency turned one night into a rush to the vet, praying with every heartbeat that sheâd hold on. She had a hypoglycemia and hypothermia episode, explained by the fact that she was eating very little food. For hours we didnât know if she would make it. But Pixie decided to show us her magic. âš
Against all odds, she pulled through. And not only is she stronger now â sheâs found her voice. She meows loudly for attention, demanding cuddles and announcing to the world that sheâs ready to be loved all the time.
She is the type of cat that wants to stay in your lap all day. If we are busy she stays glued to Trudy or the other cats - she's never on her own. She is bossy and full of life, playful, loves food and loves everybody around her. She went to an event with us, because we did not want to leave her home alone all day, and she was completely unbothered by the noises, strangers and dogs around her.
She will be vaccinated soon, we wanted to wait for her to gain some weight and strength. Ready for travelling in November probably.
Pixieâs tiny sister in magic â Elfy đ§âââš
Elfyâs story began in a too familiar place - the Ecarisaj. She and her three brothers were brought to the public shelter â that we know is a harsh, unsafe environment for such fragile little souls. Sadly, one of the kittens didnât make it through the night. đ That loss shook us and we knew we had to act fast to save at least one life. Fortunately, Elfy did not show any health problems so far.
Her remaining two brothers have since been adopted, and we can only hope they are safe and loved. Meanwhile, little Elfy came into our arms â a tabby fairy with the biggest ears and a magical presence that makes her look like she belongs in a storybook.
Sheâs incredibly small, but her personality is anything but. Just like her sister Pixie, sheâs already mastered the art of asking (demanding!) for cuddles. Fierce in her meows, unstoppable in her love, Elfy is showing us that even the tiniest creatures can have the loudest spirits. She is our little elf with starry eyes and oversized ears.
She is a more feisty cat, and she knows how to put everyone in their place - including the biggest dog in the house. She is a bit desperate when she eats, in the first days she was growling at us, now she is better, almost calm. She is playful and loving and adores her cat siblings, especially Harry and Pixie.
