- 6 young dogs ( who grew up in the ecarisaj and are not so young anymore :( born approx. summer 2022 and since then in the ecarisaj)  - kennel 102

102.1 - Black girl with white on her chest - She is very friendly and social, playful and sweet. Hard to capture on camera because the enthusiasm is huge whenever she has visitors. She is about 48-50 cm, a very manageable size and a very adoptable girl.


102.2 - White male with red brown spots - Handsome boy, about 55 cm, quite shy, but can be touched and petted with some perseverance.


102.3 - Brown male - The shyest one from the gang, he prefers to avoid human contact and finds security in his furry family, looking to hide behind them. Very handsome boy, would need an experienced family to help him build trust. He is also about 55 cm.


102.4 - Black male with beige eyebrows - Super sweet boy, also around 55 cm, when approached from outside the kennel he is super friendly and bold. When faced with direct human contact, he is a bit shy at first, and tries to hide imitating his brothers, however after a short period of time he realizes that treats and caresses are actually really nice, so he becomes friendly. He would recover quickly, he is a social boy and very loving.


102.5 - Chubby beige male - Sweet shy male, also around 55 cm or a bit under, he can also be petted with some perseverance.


102.6 - Teddy bear male - Handsome cute teddy-like boy, sweet and shy, but without any aggressive reactions. He can be petted if cornered, and he is interested in treats, so he would probably overcome his fears quite quickly in a friendly environment. He also finds safety in his colleagues, he climbed on top of one of them in the corner, and at some point agreed to use him as a table and eat treats that we placed on his fur


- 4 young dogs kennel 101 (born approx. Jan 2022) -

101.1 - White boy with grey ears - Handsome friendly young boy, enjoys petting and human company, about 57-58 cm.


101.2 - White girl with light brown spots - Beautiful super affectionate girl, at first she is a bit shy, but then she just exposes her belly and you cannot get rid of her She is a darling, about 52-53 cm, unfortunately I only made videos and no photos, but we will make up for it next time. She is a beauty, delicate and very adoptable.


101.3 - Black & beige fluffy girl - Very nice and friendly girl, although she is a bit cautious at first, about 54-55 cm, longing for affection and very beautiful.


101.4 - White & red brown fluffy boy - Handsome boy, about 58-59 cm, he is the shyest in the gang when it comes to human interaction, but his shyness does not last too long either. With some patience and perseverance, he can be petted nicely.


- Bellinda kennel 99 - Sweet Bellinda is still a bit shy, but very recoverable. She is a delicate sensitive girl, under 48 cm and not massive at all, very manageable and adoptable. As mentioned before, in a friendly & safe environment, she would very soon build trust and become a friendly girl in no time. She can be petted nicely and she enjoys treats.


- Sky kennel 91 - Gorgeous girl, yet another shy ex-puppy getting older in the ecarisaj Since 09.2021 in the ecarisaj, born 01.2021, about 55-60 cm, she is shy but can be petted without any aggressive reactions. Such a sweetie, sensitive and in great need of a loving home.


- Veteran Coraggio kennel 93 - Wonderful gentle big and shy boy, in the ecarisaj since June 2020, born 2018-2019 (I will ask about the official estimation), about 65-67 cm. He is shy and enters freeze mode if he is cornered, however he accepts petting and once he relaxes a bit, he even eats his treats quickly in our presence. He is such a calm and docile boy, really really loveable and if given a chance he would melt hearts. Great boy, about to celebrate his fourth year in the ecarisaj, such a waste


- Veteran Nemo kennel 95 - Sweet Nemo has been in the ecarisaj since 12.2019, he was estimated to be born 12.2016, about 50-55 cm. As mentioned before, he is a shy darling, who just needs his chance. He will surely make progress and learn to trust. He has the kind of eyes that touch one right into the heart, we really hope someone notices him eventually.


- Fiete kennel 96 - Yet another shy puppy grown up in the ecarisaj, ex-puppy kennel colleague of Sky kennel 91 In the ecarisaj since 09.2021, estimated date of birth 04.2021, about 65 cm (or a bit over). Very sad to see these fates of dogs who were so unlucky to get overlooked as scared puppies in the ecarisaj, and then end up growing up in here, deepening her fears and lack of trust. He is surely recoverable, he can be petted even though he is not relaxed. You can see in the video that he got scared at some point, but he did not attempt to snap. He is very interested in treats and would be able to make great progress in a suitable family.


- Piano kennel 98 - Piano is a heartbreaking view, given his age and state of health he should be in a warm, safe place. He eats good wet food, but his eyes are really sad and we hope that he is not about to give up completely. It is too soon to tell whether the neutering has helped with his tumors, but also aside from those, he has had a hard life and he probably has other problems too - at least arthritis for sure. He would very much need to get out of here as soon as possible, we really hope someone can give him a chance.

- 6 puppies outside kennel 1 - Jolly nice gang, trying to stay positive. All these puppies are friendly and super sweet. The last 2 ones are a bit more shy in the general agitation, but in fact very friendly and they stick to you and don't want to let go if you hold them.

2 girls, sisters of Rowdy & Cosmo who were lucky and left the ecarisaj. According to the vets, one of them who was adopted and returned, will be again adopted next week - not sure which, we will have to check exactly next week. They are both super lovely, friendly, active and in charge since they are the biggest ones


Then, the 4 sweet puppies ex-quarantine/outside improvised kennel:
1 very friendly boy, 3 girls. The last 2 ones are a bit more delicate and sensitive, and definitely underdogs in the current puppy pack.

- Puppy girl Pearly + 3 sibling puppies from the somewhat "older" puppies gang. They are a bit more shy because of spending too much time in the ecarisaj already, but with great potential of recovering if they find nice families. We hope they won't end up growing up in here:

- Erna kennel 101 - We missed her individual photo shooting last time, so we made some pictures this time. She is super friendly and affectionate, and throws herself on the back to expose her belly for petting, so it's really hard to catch her in a "normal" dog position She is a darling, we are very much hoping she will get noticed.


- Minty kennel 98 - New boy in the ecarisaj, handsome, friendly and sweet, with gentle eyes, as expected a bit confused about his sad whereabouts, but still very happy to receive visitors and petting. Estimated dob 03.2019, shoulder height about 47-50 cm.


- Ex-mommy Hope kennel 97 - Great girl, about 47-48 cm, born 04.2021, she came with puppies in the ecarisaj, but is now alone for quite a while. She is positive, friendly, affectionate and sweet, very adoptable.

- Cinnamon is still the boldest and friendliest girl in the kennel, beautiful and very sweet:


Neoma - Such a wonderful sensitive girl, she has a ton of potential to turn into the most affectionate dog, she just needs her chance.


Novalee is still shy, but not extremely, she ate in our presence. No new photos this time.

Nabbi needed a bit of convincing, but he managed to be successful as well. Such wonderful sensitive dogs, medium size at most, in so much need for families.

- Puppy girls Anna & Elsa - kennel 110 - These two cuties are so heart melting, sensitive sweet girls who are sadly growing up in the ecarisaj. Born in autumn 2023, they are a bit cautious at first but in fact very friendly and enjoying human interaction. The only good thing is that they are together for now, keeping each other company and playing to forget about the sad situation they are in. Tonno, their sweet neighbour in kennel 109 si encouraging them, cuddling with them through the fence, and playing. He doesn't know much about life outside the ecarisaj, but he is like a big brother, showing them that they need to stay positive and hope for better days. We wish all 3 of them a chance to re-live their childhood even though they are no longer the youngest puppies.


- Molly, Lillifee, Tinkerbell - kennel 140 - A very sad and unfortunately common story, scared puppies grown up in the ecarisaj. Born end of 2022/beginning of 2023, this gang of 3 shy beautiful girls are trying their best to cope with the ecarisaj atmosphere. The ladies are all shy, but Molly and Lillifee are braver than Tinkerbell. They can be petted and they eat treats in our presence. Tinkerbell is the most scared one, and the one who depends the most on her sisters. None of the girls are aggressive and at least for now they can at least enjoy one another and are satisfied that they are together, even though they are in such a sad situation. Molly's fur is not worse and not better, unfortunately the ecarisaj is not the place where such a stress-driven condition can be treated. We saw the same with other dogs before (Monty ex kennel 34 being the most recent one for example), where no medical treatment but only a change of environment has healed his condition. He is happy and thriving in his new family, we wish Molly and her sisters the same kind of luck. All of them are recoverable, they just need their chance.

- Marzipan kennel 141 - Such a wonderful senior dog, 10+ years old, ca. 54 cm, very fond of people and very quiet and balanced. I was a bit sad to see him more sad than usual, it feels like he has started to give up hope. He still enjoys petting and soft treats, but his eyes are more tired, too much time spent in the ecarisaj. He looks like a golden retriever mix, his old ear problem (otohematoma) does not seem to bother him anymore. His left ear is thicker but does not seem to be painful or sensitive at all. This old boy has surely had a hard life, it would be about time for him to find a warm soft couch to chill on, together with his people.


- Espresso - kennel 142 - Another senior boy, born ca. 2014-2015, ca. 50 cm, a burst of energy and full of life. He is friendly and bold, he comes and jumps around to invite you to visit him, and then claims his treats. He enjoys petting but he does not have enough time for it, he is really funny, a high energy senior chubby dog who has been locked away for too much time. We hope his family is also somewhere out there, active and looking for a funny "hyper" dog.


- Balu kennel 143 - Since 2021 in the ecarisaj, born ca. 2017-2018, ca. 45 cm, he is very happy to get treats and also visitors, he wags his tail from a distance, but he is rather shy when it comes to close interaction. His right eye is completely or almost completely blind, but he seems to be living ok with this small handicap. Very nice and likeable boy, would need a bit of time to learn trust and to get closer to people.


- Amoroso kennel 148 - Since 2021 in the ecarisaj, born ca. 2014-2015, ca. 56 cm, senior boy Amoroso is such a darling. A very balanced, affectionate and gentle boy, lovely companion. He is super happy about human interaction, not only does he like to stay close to people but he even leans against you and puts his complete trust into the people around him. Such a wonder that a dog who spent the last 3+ years in the ecarisaj has so much trust and hope. Wonderful dog, most certainly used to have a family, we hope a better chance comes along for him soon, he has surely earned it. When you leave his kennel, he is practically begging to be allowed to come along His looks may be somewhat common, but as you all know by now, the most special dogs hide under common looks.


- Philomena kennel 153 - Gorgeous and super affectionate girl, a wonderful companion, born 2016-2017, 50-52 cm, unfortunately in estrus which makes her a bit restless at the moment. She is very skinny and she doesn't like dry food - she is probably not used to it, but she wouldn't stop eating wet food. She will be spayed as soon as her estrus cycle is over and she puts on some weight. Totally adoptable, delicate and sweet lady, we hope she will not be in the ecarisaj for a long time. She loves to cuddle and she is very fond of people.


- Cato kennel 79 - Since 2021 in the ecarisaj, 56-57 cm, born approx. 2020, a wonderful dog, balanced and positive, affectionate and totally people oriented. Even when going round the kennels with treats, he usually is like: "ok I'll take the treat if you insist, but would you also please pet me for a bit and spend a bit of time with me?". He has strabismus (esotropia), but it does not seem to bother him at all, possibly congenital. Dream dog, gentle, sweet and handsome, he does not belong in the ecarisaj.

1. Nelson kennel 242 - DREAM DOG. Not much more to say to his character. Facts are - he came into the ecarisaj in 2022 as an 8 month old junior dog, and he has been there ever since. We took him out for a short walk, he was so emotional and sweet, remembering how grass tastes and feels like. He is intelligent, balanced, delicate, people oriented and sweet. He has a shoulder height of 50 cm and he will not grow any further. We really hope he can find his family, he surely deserves one.


2. Yuri kennel 226 - Sweet and handsome Yuri, in the ecarisaj since 01.2024, doing a lot better since his Simparica treatment and his grooming. His skin is healed and he has great energy and lust for life. It seems he had an owner before, he is very friendly and likes people, he is happy about treats and visits. He is about 63-64 cm tall and he's got the cutest innocent puppy look.He is born approx 2020-2021, but we need to find out more exactly. He is ready to find his forever home.


3. Berni kennel 227 - In the ecarisaj since 02.2023, estimated to be born 02.2015, Berni is such a sweetheart. He is a bit cautious and shy, but not a scared dog. He eats treats from the hand and he can be touched, but he would need a bit more time to feel safe while being petted. He surely had mixed experiences with people and he prefers to be cautious. He is about 62 cm and he has put on weight since last time we visited him. Surely not great for his joints, but living in a small kennel for over 1 year does not make exercising very easy Sweet and handsome senior, we really hope he gets his chance.


4. Border kennel 229 - Handsome and energetic boy, about 55-56 cm, since 03.2023 in the ecarisaj, born 03.2021, sadly celebrating his 1 year anniversary in this sad place. He is a burst of energy and affection, he would do anything to convince visitors to go in. He loves people and he is so excited when we go into his kennel that he needs a few minutes just to calm down and eat some treats. Really lovely good-mood crazy young boy, in need of a family. Guaranteed to make you laugh.


5. Lilly kennel 16 - Lovely and loving lady, 6 years old (the first information was incorrect, the wrong tag was put at her kennel door), about 53 cm, solely interested in people. Very affectionate and sweet, easy going and 1000% people oriented. She is not interested in treats, she just wants hugging and cuddling. We have an interested family for her via Ulrike / Pfotengluck, hopefully she gets her ticket out of here soon. She has one cut off ear and she surely had several rounds of puppies. She was spayed today, we hope she will not spend too much time in the ecarisaj.


6. Wonderful 12 puppies (9 girls + 3 boys if we got them right) - outside kennel 1 - The photos and videos say more than words can ever say. Sweet and delicate babies, trying to stay positive although they surely miss their mommies. We hope the mommies will be captured as well, the ecarisaj staff are trying to bring them in as well, but were not successful until now.
(For each puppy there is also a picture where you can see the gender, but in case of doubt please ask.)
One of the puppy boys has a huge hernia, which will need to be watched closely


7. 3 older puppies - outside kennel 2 - The unfortunate 3 puppies left unadopted from the larger gang. The white-brown girl with black spots on the back is booked for somebody. The other 2 girls are still looking. Next week, we will make new photos of them again.

- Amaretta kennel 73 - Such a wonderful girl, a burst of love and affection, born 04.2021, about 52-53 cm, and more than 2 years in the ecarisaj Good news, on Saturday, she came home with us, together with lovely boy Louie kennel 87. I will send a separate email for the 2 sweeties, both great dogs and looking for families, and both have already spent 2 years in the ecarisaj.


- Nurmi kennel 74 - Great friendly and loving boy, about 62 cm, since 03.2024 in the ecarisaj, born 03.2022. Even though he is young, he seems to be calm and balanced, gentle and sweet, we hope he won;t spend too much time in the ecarisaj.


- Caja kennel 80 - Caja is such a darling sweet lady, about 48-50 cm, very delicate and cute, affectionate and wise. A girl to fall in love with immediately, also a very manageable size, she needs to find a family soon. Her teeth are not in very good shape and she seems to have a wart, probably papilloma in her left eye causing some light eye discharge. Not an emergency, but something to keep on the radar. Hopefully she can find a place soon and we can take her out of the ecarisaj and get her properly treated. She has been in the ecarisaj since 03.2024, estimated to be born 2015-2016. Typical case of a super special dog hiding under common looks 🥰


- Sweet veteran Marina kennel 219, a favorite of everyone who has ever met her in person, has found a foster home and left the ecarisaj, many thanks to our lovely volunteer friends Andreea & Maria. She came out of the ecarisaj and is looking for a home. We will soon share more updates, please keep her in your mind in case of requests, and help us find a forever home for this wonderful and lovable lady. Of course, helping a dog from a foster place enables these great volunteers to help the next one after. The only way we can all continue to help. Thank you!


- Bellezza kennel 41 - Since 05.2021 in the ecarisaj, Bellezza is a beautiful and delicate girl, 48-49 cm, born approx. 05.2016. She is cautious when it comes to touching, but she can be petted really nicely and she enjoys it. She gets scared a bit when being touched directly on the back, she surely had some not so nice life experiences with people, but she is a very nice and adoptable girl. Even though she got a bit scared, she did not have any aggressive reaction. She just needs loving people to earn her trust.


- Amelie kennel 34 - Super sweet and delicate girl, puppy grown up in the ecarisaj, born approx Jan 2022, about 55-60 cm she used to live with her friends in a larger kennel, sadly the gang got broken up and split into separate kennels. She is alone here and she surely misses her old friends. She is a bit cautious but she can be petted nicely and she is a great girl, we really hope her chance comes along.


- Jargo kennel 36 - In the ecarisaj since 05.2022, about 60 cm, very very active and sporty boy, needless to say how the small kennel and the imprisonment make him feel. He is probably a Transylvanian hound mix, high energy friendly dog. He is powerful and always hungry, a lot of energy that he cannot spend properly Friendly boy, loves to hug and kiss. We still have not received his age estimation, I have asked again.


- Lima kennel 18 - In the ecarisaj since 03.2021, about 52 cm, estimated at that time to be born 03.2009 (she is probably a bit younger). Lima is a wonderful girl, she is a bit cautious but comes for treats and can be petted nicely. It is soooo sad for her to spend her probably not so long remaining time in the ecarisaj, we really really hope that someone has a warm cozy place for the old sweetheart. Most of her teeth are completely worn out, she is very happy about soft treats and food, but she is still a positive girl, she has not given up hope and we really hope that someone gives her a chance to get to know a better life than what she has had so far.


Also, some good news, the following dogs have left the ecarisaj on Friday and have moved to Mara & Alina:
