ZitatThis is Walter and most likely until now he's had a horrible life. He's a medium size male, around 3 years old and he's been taken off the streets last week (08.07.2016) in the state he is now - very skinny and with an ingrowing collar or maybe worse, a wire in his neck. The wound has been cleaned and treated by the doctors in the pound and for now he seems to be healing ok, he has good appetite and his general condition seems ok - however the pound is not a good environment for a dog in his state and we hope that at some point soon someone will want to take him out of there. Despite all Walter proves to be a nice balanced dog, he is curious but also calm, he is friendly and eats from hand in a gentle way (remembering all the time that the human hand has fingers attached to it despite him being very very hungry). He doesn't seem upset with anybody for the horrible way he was "taken care" of - not sure how many people in this situation would behave in the same way. We hope Walter will find soon nice kind hearted people to take him home, after 3 years of misery he should learn what a good carefree life feels like and he really deserves to be loved and appreciated. Thank you!
