  • A few words about this charming lady

She was constantly eaten by the dogs in the cages - she has changed already 2 cages,
the dogs did not allow her to eat
and Melissa was always in wounds

Last Tuesday her carer called me and siad - that she jus do not know what to do...to what cage to move her...

I told her to move her to 32 - where my beloved Sancho sits with a shy girl.
Hope - she will be ok there!

  • TIMA and Gigolo with Russian dogs on your minds and in your hearts:

I am a relative of Donna Tosja's new owner who cannot walk long distances; that's why I assist with the dog walking after work and on week-ends. Again you have presented a dog in need of a good home.......Here I see a striking resemblance between Donna (Tosja) and Mellissa, indeed, they could be sisters...... ! Melissa is not very skinny yet but that may come soon if she's shy and the other dogs in the cage don't stop nagging her. She might even become emotionally disturbed and very reserved. I do hope she will find a foster home very soon and afterwards a dog-loving family who will adopt her. When will she be allowed to leave the shelter?
I'm crossing my fingers for her!

    Es grüßt
    Donnas Spaziertante (Elisabeth)

  • Thank you indeed for your interest in Melissa!!

I know Tosja and her beautiful mam :wuub:

Yes, there is a resemblence between Tosja and Melissa, but of course we can not say for sure - they are relatives...
nobody knows...may be and may be not...

I just talked to her carer,
she said - that now Melissa does not look that nice as compared to the photos,
    she is some 16kg now...
She spent 2 months in the shelter hospital..............because of poor spaying...
    the sutures constantly rankled....
    she lost much weight there...

these are the photos of her on the hands of Natasha - her carer
Melissa looks in the photos - as if she were big but in reality - she is small

  • As you know, my dear friends, each sector in the shelter has its walking area.

A few words how Melissa walked there on Saturday and Sunday  :D Natasha phoned me just a few minutes ago and told me this,.
At first - she sat there in the lap of Natasha - Tasha 71.
Then - in the lap of Natasha - Natalie777.

This lady prefers to be in a human being lap...  :D

Her reactions are much more better, she is more quicker to react now. I wrote in the mail to the volunteers of our shelter to pay more attention as to her behavious and her delay in reactions - and the girls did it with pleasure  :wuub: As Melissa is charming!
May be that not active response to all what happened around her was connected with her long stay in the hospital.....I wrote in the thread of Sancho - what the hospital is....Anyway - the gorls will continue to observe her behavoiur.

  • I do hope she will!

BUT! I did not write you about this ... BUT on Sunday she got a call from the owners of Myshka....they want to return her...... :weinen:

In this situation - I do not know...whether it will be possible...
today - she was positive - to take her to a foster home....

  • Myshka bring back??????
She's only there since Saturday. And I am soooo happy for the girl. Yesterday I wanted to put them here in the forum and then I saw that she was adopted on Saturday.

    Shit!

  • NO, NO!
    Not this Myshka...
    this one http://vao-priut.org/forum/myshonokslozhnaya-sudbapomozhem

the owners are tired of cleaning after her...due to the innervation of face muscles - when she eats food partly falls on the floor...

this is my little mouse........she is tremendous!! with her undescridable DESIRE TO LIVE!!!!
the vets who ex-rayed her told us when we took her out of the shelter - I do not understand - how she survived....and how she can move at all...

  • MOUSE - is a young girl!!!

I saw her just by chance...when I visited a fox cage...I saw her - extremely thin sitting in the corner of the zimnik...I saw blood in her AA, I saw her moving in a strange way....OHHH! I can speak a lot about her!!!

Just one episode...when Natasha brough her to her appartment - her cats were afraid of her, especially Kuzya (a boy), he did not sleep and monitored Myshka from the corridor...
Myshanya understood it....that he is nervous...took her toy and on her thin legs she somehow managed to come up to him, she put the toy near him and returned to her cushion...

She is still with the "owners"

    With Natasha - her carer

    Anв in the shelter

  • yes...a separate...
the only thing with Mouse - is how - in case....there is a home for her in Germany - she will endure the road..........
as she is not on friendly terms with cars...nauseant...+ she is very sensitive...very...to all changes in her life...
